From some where else, and a distant memory of an other life.

This is a body forced into life once more, struggling to cope with the life it might have had once but cannot comprehend it. At the same time it draws a parallel to the feeling of being alone, confronted with choosing to live now or chase the wind of memories. This sketch card is done in Ink and Marker and is part of a horror art series of original monsters.

I drew this before I ever even heard of ,"The Frankenstien Wheel," and if you have not read this book you need to it is beyond good.

Baron, The Vampire. Horror Art Sketch Card

Vampires... there are so many legends about them and so much horror art depicting them. Legends about vampires are countless. Everyone knows they are scared of garlic and the wooden stakes and crosses and holy water and silver bullets and not being invited. Now here is something not every one knows. According to the legends it's not actually just any stick that can kill them, it's aspen. This is much like holy water and cross is related to Christianity. It is believed that Judas hand himself on the aspen, so this specific tree ended in countless legends and magical rituals as it apparently has some supper powers. Vampires are also believed to have an OCD about untying nuts and picking things up. It is advised to throw peas on the road between cemetery and nearest town so that the vampire, if there is one would end up spending all night picking up all those peas and will not be able to get to the town.

The Witch

This is the witch, good old witch. I wanted to make her look really ugly but with a beautiful body.

Now if you would like to see a really cool old school movie with incredible special effects, especially for 1967, looks for a russian movie called Viy, they have it on youtube actually with english subtitles. This movie has a really creepy witch there and all in all a very good story. The story was originally written by ukrainian writer Gogol. After this movie, I'm hooked on russian horror.

Ruffian, Acrylic Horror Painting

Ruffian is another one of my 5x7 acrylic horror paintings. Mossy green skin and yellow eyes and teeth were my choice of colors for this creepy fellah.

I seal all of my painting with a protective layer to prevent accidental scratching. After a wall with my work fell before the art show, and none of my paintings got damaged I consider it a must. Added benefit of the seal is a shine that acrylic paint doesn't usually have.

I just turned ruffian into a postcard and greeting card in case someone want to get these and give it to... your grandma? At least that's what I would do if I didn't want to be invited to any family gatherings ever again.

Now I just have to turn the rest of these cute little guys into greeting cards. Till then, you can always buy originals.

He Who Lets Evil In, Horror Painting

He Who Lets Evil In is a horror painting done with acrylic paint on 5x7 canvas panel. This is from a series of paintings all done on the same size panel. I'll be posting the rest of this nightmareish art in the near future.

I decided to paint these small paintings after I got so much good feedback on mirrors I did earlier. I decided to paint a smaller and more affordable versions since many of my fans don't have enough money to be able so drop a few hundred dollars on a painting. With these I can keep my fans happy and keep on doing what I love most, horror and fantasy arts of all shapes and sizes.

Just added this one to my red bubble, it can not be purchased as a post card or greeting card.

Kor the Troll T-Shirt, Horror Art

Kor the Troll t-shirt is my horror art tee-shirt and it is now on  Red Bubble. This horror art is done with ink and arranged, colored on the computer. The basis being a comic book concept that I have put much time into, it is the story of Kor the Troll and how fear of what we are can blind us to what we become. I'll be working on this horror story soon, so it'll be out there. I'm working on another graphic novel at the moment, so it will take some time before I can get to this one. I'll be posting here when I'll start working on the art for it.

Monster Portrait

This is monster portrait drawn in pen and ink. I did this one recently and thought it wasn't scary enough, I was told by others however that it is too scary, so I guess after drawing all those monster drawings I got a bit desensitized. Would like to update you on my recent state, first of all I was in the gallery this past week and it was an incredible experience. I'm glad I ended up in Erie, there is so much going on here in terms of arts.
For the next few days I'll be working on a 2 page comic that I want to submit to Heavy Metal magazine in hopes that they will love my artwork as much as I love their magazine, or at least love it enough to publish it. Well, I'll be going back to my work.

5 Faced Mirror

Horror painting done on a mirror frame. I love doing stretched faces, can you tell?
This one is not as scary as the one with 3 faces, but it's enough to get old ladies to make disgusted face and walk away. Better yet, old man to turn away from it as soon as they get a glimpse with the look on their face that reads "I didn't see it, I swear I didn't see it, God please don't send me to sell for looking at it, I didn't see anything." If I god a $1 for every person that got disgusted after looking at this painting, I'd be rich.

Mirror With Three Streched Faces

Painted mirror done in acrylic paint. Faces stretched  Around the mirror give a very cool effect when you look at your self in the mirror.
I painted this mirror about a month ago. Got good reactions out of it, people loved it, especially the red face. Actually red face is what people usually saw and didn't even noticed the other two. Hope you guys love it as much as I do.

PS: sorry I didn't post anything for so long, didn't have Internet access.
