Embers of Madness is a visualization of insanity. It may be considered that fire purifies evil, how ever animals trapped by fire go mad in panic. This is a creature who's mind is encircled by flame and revels in the chaos of his erratic mentality. This thing that was a man, and had been dead, had seen the edge of perception only to be pulled back to life by a sense of vengeance. To topple all living enemies in pillars of fire, to bring the inferno at the edge of all sight into view for all who have wronged him.
This comic book style artwork done in an attempt to capture this element of insanity which in truth is almost all that is left of this character.
I love fiction, fantasy, and horror. This reflects in my art. In fact horror and fantasy art are most of what I draw and paint. I usually have an interesting story to go along with the art, many on them are ideas I came up with for comic books.

Acrylic Fantasy Painting. Talon, The Teeth and Wisdom.
This is a fantasy painting, based on a concept about an elf who wakes up believing that the war he was a soldier in, still continues. He discovers that both sides were the same and the means for a third party to gain power. When this elf discovers the political leader he fought for is part of this third party, he attempts assassination only to discover two others with as much reason as him to kill the political traitor: a dwarf and a halfbreed of super intelligent telepathic forest cat and domestic breed. This cats name is Wisdom and is the closest thing to being the last of the full breed forest cats. The elf becomes his Talon and the dwarf is dubbed The Teeth. Together they flee a failed assassination into the enchanted mushroom wilds, This is what I had hoped to capture with this acrylic painting. If you enjoy good fantasy art then I believe you will love my work, this is the first in a series acrylic paintings and Illustrations based on this concept.

Monster Portrait
This is monster portrait drawn in pen and ink. I did this one recently and thought it wasn't scary enough, I was told by others however that it is too scary, so I guess after drawing all those monster drawings I got a bit desensitized. Would like to update you on my recent state, first of all I was in the gallery this past week and it was an incredible experience. I'm glad I ended up in Erie, there is so much going on here in terms of arts.
For the next few days I'll be working on a 2 page comic that I want to submit to Heavy Metal magazine in hopes that they will love my artwork as much as I love their magazine, or at least love it enough to publish it. Well, I'll be going back to my work.

Do you Want to be a Hero?
This drawing is a sample of a portrait of a fantasy/comic book hero. I drew it yesterday from a picture of my wife. We were thinking about this character for some time now. This is a character called Lida of the Woods who is a child of the nature and fights to protect it. She has vines around one arm that she uses to block and attack. The other hand has a glove on it to protect that hand when she strikes with a dagger.
If if would like btw me to draw you as a fantasy character or a comic book character just send me a photo and a description of a character you want to become and the rest is up to me. For details go to my custom portrait post at Unnerving Nightmare shop

Portraits
I have drawn portraits before, but haven't tried making a living of of it until now. Over the last few days I drew 2 portraits in different inking style and priced them according to the time it took me to draw them. At the moment they are actually very cheap as far as portraits go, in the future I'm planing to increase the price though, I mean honestly, $50 for a portrait? Thats just too cheap, but I have to start somewhere.

5 Faced Mirror
Horror painting done on a mirror frame. I love doing stretched faces, can you tell?
This one is not as scary as the one with 3 faces, but it's enough to get old ladies to make disgusted face and walk away. Better yet, old man to turn away from it as soon as they get a glimpse with the look on their face that reads "I didn't see it, I swear I didn't see it, God please don't send me to sell for looking at it, I didn't see anything." If I god a $1 for every person that got disgusted after looking at this painting, I'd be rich.

Mirror With Three Streched Faces
Painted mirror done in acrylic paint. Faces stretched Around the mirror give a very cool effect when you look at your self in the mirror.
I painted this mirror about a month ago. Got good reactions out of it, people loved it, especially the red face. Actually red face is what people usually saw and didn't even noticed the other two. Hope you guys love it as much as I do.
PS: sorry I didn't post anything for so long, didn't have Internet access.

Single Page Story, Fire Heart
This wasn't intended to be a part of the same Fire Heart story, but it is the same character and principle. The characters on the top strip, in the middle are from another story I plan to work on in the future called Lida of the Woods. The two stories are not really connected in the way this strip might suggest, but once again have the same principle. What can I say, my ADD does strange things to my art sometimes. For those who know me well, and have heart about my recent adventures, however this strip and the appearance of characters from other stories will mean more.

Pen and Ink Drawing.
This is another one of drawings I did a few month ago. Didn't take too long and I think the result was good. As always I first penciled it and then inked it. Love doing pen and ink, as you can see most of my work is done in pen and ink. My other pen and ink sketches are The Man-Bat pen and ink, Poison Ivy Pen and Ink, and Mr Zsasz pen and ink

Watercollor Pencil
Finished coloring it. Love the way watercolor pencils worked. I was honestly happy with my own results. I think I'll just keep on using watercolor pencils from now on, they look great. Honestly, highly recommend, they are very easy to use. I used to have watercolor pencils before, but ended up ruining them with charcoal before i got a chance to really try them out, this time I'll to treating them much better, they are not the cheapest pencils in the world after all and they give great results.

Did this for portfolio. it was a torture trying to get angle and all the lines perfect, but that's something I'll have to deal with. After all, how can i draw comic books if i can't draw architecture
